Bill Adair is an award-winning journalist and educator. As a reporter for the Tampa Bay Times, he covered aviation, Congress, the White House and the Supreme Court. He published The Mystery of Flight 427, an inside account of a crash investigation.

He is the creator of PolitiFact, the Pulitzer Prize-winning fact-checking site, and co-founder of the International Fact-Checking Network. He is now a professor of journalism and public policy at Duke University and a leader in the effort to combat misinformation.
